On Monday morning the town learned of the death of Madge Hungerford daughter of E. R. Hungerford manager of the city telephone company. Doctors disagree if pneumonia or diphtheria caused her illness, services were held at the Congregational Church with large attendance. The Junior Endeavor sent a pillow, and many flowers were given. The town also notes diphtheria affecting Dr. Allen’s daughter but she improves. Billings public school teachers were re-elected. Brayton’s salary raised to 1 60 a year. 12 teachers now, four more planned next fall. Delegates to the Republican county convention were named.
