A devastating naphtha car explosion enveloped a crowd in a sheet of flame. Officials report seventy five percent of the injured are expected to die, creating a scene of wild excitement as responders battled the blaze.
A Panhandle railroad yard explosion in Sheridan Pennsylvania killed many and critically burned about 200. A dozen identified dead include Albert McKean and John Swayn with numerous others injured as flames and falling debris spread, villagers flee, and Pittsburg ambulances rush to aid.
