Shenkin stock association holds spring meeting at Green's hall
Great Falls May 7. The Shenkin stock association meets this evening in Green's hall with many members present. The upcoming round-up date is not fixed but expected between May 15 and 26. The event, one of the oldest in the state, has long powered local stockmen, though winter feeding and close herding by Highwood owners may end the era, with a prominent member predicting the 1902 summer will mark the last regular round-up between the Missouri and Musselshell.
