Michigan adventuress sought by postal inspectors for using mails in a matrimonial advertising swindle. Marriages divorces and elopements are her chief amusements.
Chicago dispatch says a Michigan born woman known as Della Prindle is the subject of a long federal search. Traced from Burnip's Corners near Detroit to Glendive and Missoula, she has posed as a widow with $60,000 and attracted mail from across the United States and overseas.
Bulletin from Castle Loo states Queen Wilhelmina is ill with typhoid fever and in satisfactory condition. Attending physicians report disease progressing normally with no expected deterioration, while speculation continues on succession should death occur. Queen Emma acts as regent. possible throne passage to Wilhelm Ernest of Saxe-Weimar Eisenbach.
Last night workers halted coal lumber and ore transport as a 12 hour teamster shift ended in snow. Wages set at 3.50 for 10 hours with 3 for eight, yards and mills to cease work while ore haulers and stable crews adjust hours. About 50 men expected to quit today amid limited sympathy from delivery wagon drivers and clerks.
Princess Radziwill was found guilty on all counts of forging notes said to be indorsed by Cecil Rhodes. She received a two year confinement in the house of correction with no hard labor due to delicate health. Houston reports a murder at the Rusk penitentiary after Ramón Mendez, leader of a long robbery gang, was sentenced to 18 years. Witness Juan Aguilar received five years and was killed by Mendez soon after arrival at the prison. The gang had stolen about 10909 dollars worth of goods over several years.
In St Louis on April 20 the coroner's jury ruled Mrs Nettie Fargo died as an accident when her husband Harry B Fargo, angered by her conduct, shot at her escort and struck his wife. Fargo had returned from Illinois and confronted the visiting man after finding his wife away from home.
Simon Ballen a young Peruvian educated at West Point has been found dead in bed in Lima Peru. He served in Indian campaigns in the United States and was reported by a Herald dispatch from Lima.
12 year old Maud Ferguson testifies with remarkable composure about the Milburn double shooting of her mother and grandmother. She implicates her gray haired grandfather Philemon Crelin, asserting facts that could convict him if proven.
Gatesville Wis April 2 reports the drowning of Tom Thunder the Winnebago Indian are false. He remains in the city and was present there today.
The witness described a night of shooting in which her grandfather entered the house and killed her grandmother, then shot her mother and fired at the witness as she hid. He turned the revolver on himself but survived, surprising Crelin who did not look up during testimony.
In Brandenburg Kentucky on April 36 a mob took Ernest Dewly from jail and hanged him after he shot and wounded Harry Dowell. Dewy fired at Pickerell at Frawley's saloon. Dowell was hit. An inquest found death at unknown hands and the circuit court will investigate the lynching.
Two men die and a third is badly injured at a Philadelphia filtration plant when a basket overturns while lowering workers into a shaft. Deen Terwidotte is seriously hurt. identified victims are William Yancy, 30, and John Banks, 25, both described as colored.
New York report notes no bulletin on his condition tonight. Dr Keyes said the patient is recovering from a slight relapse and taking solid food. Temperature normal and interest in affairs return. Pneumonia traces gone and recovery anticipates with assurance.

In Philadelphia on April 30 a deaf and dumb boy's accident triggered a panic at Harburger, Homan & Co. cigar factory. Eight girls died and over twenty were injured as hundreds fled down a narrow stairway, some leaping from windows to the street. Fire alarms and emergency crews struggled to rescue victims amid chaos.
Gross Neb April 30 The business portion of this town suffered a major fire of likely incendiary origin. Losses total about $40000 with one third covered by insurance. The town lacks any fire protection.
