The Haldeman Stinson endurance plane, carrying 550 gallons of gas and plenty of food for the crew, was reported by observers to be flying well in its 14th hour over Jacksonville Beach Florida at 9 47 p m EST. The craft had taken off earlier that day and was approaching its 15th hour aloft.

He cited a strong outlook for the year and a aim to provide 100 percent service despite slower lumber markets.
Premier Mussolini told his ministers that 80,000 youths from the Balila and Avanguardista groups will be inducted into the regular fascist party on Sunday. He called it a key step in universal integral education and a fundamental state duty, a move press see as reacting to Pope Pius XII's criticisms of fascist youth education.
