Toll line expansion to reach state boundary promised
Special agent F. E. Leonard of Rocky Mountain Bell Telephone says extensive improvements are planned in eastern Montana and the Dakotas, including a long distance line to Miles City and onward to Dickinson and Glendive. The aim is to connect Yellowstone Valley towns, enable direct talks with Chicago and Minneapolis, and link cattle ranches to shipping centers, with completion hoped within months.
