In Butte a new powdered milk product named Klim is praised by city officials and Dr Harvey Wiley. The process sprays milk into a warm chamber forming a fine powder that can be reconstituted with water, claimed to be economical, clean, and non spoiling in winter or summer.
A jury panel for the criminal calendar was drawn in Judge Lynch’s district court department with 119 homes selected from about 7,000 qualified voters. Murphy and Downey served as county attorneys, Bourquin Napton and Forbis Jr. formed the tally committee to verify names. The panel is returnable March 22 for trial commencement.
