Bourquin Draws Venire for Jury term in court
Judge George Bourquin drew a venire of 100 names for a March 18 return and set about a dozen cases for the jury term. Attorneys Levinski, Roter Ing and McDaniel oversaw the panel drawing. Several trials, including disputes against railways and insurers, were scheduled March 18 to 24 with about 70 more notes of intent filed. A divorce for Beatrice Nelson against Roy Nelson was granted after default.

Probate Court Busy as Dakin Trial Proceeds
In probate and juvenile court sessions Judge Jeremiah J. Lynch handled law and motion matters while the Barton B. Dakin trial resumes Monday at 10 o'clock. Probate actions included letters of administration for Theres Maul and August Maul, with bonds at 500 and 200, and other estate proceedings plus guardianship, sale, and divorce actions. The Dakin case concerns false reports to the state bank examiner amid banking turmoil. The court also addressed liens, claims, and an attorney fee adjustment in the Glimore estate, and ordered payments and temporary alimony in related divorce actions. The bank’s cash balance stood at 83,960.97 with current bills approved for $907.40.

The funeral of Mrs Harvey Jod ard, formerly Lucy Daly of Butte, who died from injuries in an auto accident, was held at Theresa’s Church Santa Monica. A solemn requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev Father Howe with assist. by Rev Patrick Peirae and M Murphy. pallbearers from Butte Helena and Butte were Hugh Wilson Lee M le Emmet Daly Charles Larch Emmet Casey and Charles Kessler. Interment was in Santa Monica.
