New Provisions in U S Army Insurance Laws
Enlisted men who dropped war risk insurance have until July 1 to reinstate. Former policy holders need only two monthly payments and must be in good health as at discharge or end of grace period. Beneficiaries expanded to remote relatives and can be changed anytime. Insurance may be paid in lump sum or installments, with more flexible options after Congress acts in December.

TWO FIRES IN LAUGHRIN HOMES REPORTED
Three small fires occurred yesterday in Laughrin area homes. M J Laughrin at 129 West Copper street faced a short circuit blaze with no material loss. Mike Laughlin at 828 West Quartz street had an electric iron ignition and the fire was tamed before the first unit arrived. A fourth fire damaged a shack at Alliance mine 810 Emma street while the watchman was in the mine.
