Game Warden Seizes Guns From Italians in Boreman
Five Italians on the Northern Bacite near Central surrendered their firearms and hunting licenses after a settlement with State Game Warden J. L. De Hart. Accused of improperly securing licenses and unlawfully pursuing small birds, the group agreed to forfeit the guns and pay fines totaling about $90, with the guns to be returned later. Deputy Warden Mark Stout led the arrest and the parties sought a settlement on terms.

Chinese Youth Discharged Not Violating Exclusion
Helena June 26 The discharge from custody of Mar Bong Lun a Chinese youth charged under the exclusion act was ordered by United States Commissioner J H Brass. Examining officials believed he attended school to gain entry rather than in good faith and feared more Chinese would use schooling to evade the law. Evidence showed he arrived in Seattle in July 1910 and has mostly studied in Seattle and Rogerman, receiving maintenance from a relative and working briefly in a restaurant without pay.
