Canvassing for New Members Publicized by Chamber Workers
Workers at a Butte luncheon praised a canvassing drive for chamber of commerce memberships. Captains boasted nine new signups without calls, while teams on street corners gathered prospects. Secretary Wills urged handling objections openly, aiming citywide support and constructive criticism. Malcolm Gillis noted strong citizen response and foreign born signer hospitality. One member offered to contribute more, pledging active involvement.
