Rotary Boosts Good Roads and Fourth of July Parade
Butte Rotary Club members met for a luncheon and planned to back the state good roads campaign and boost the upcoming Anaconda convention. They postponed the Lanquet set to July 6 to welcome visiting boosters and discussed a grand Fourth of July parade with all Montana bands. President Gillis appointed a reception committee for the boosters and the club pledged support for the park-to-park highway concept. Dr Donovan cited Rotary activities in Detroit and elsewhere, while a Colorado guard unit would resume former duties on return. The piece closes noting wool consumption trends in the United States and Britain.
