Butte Montana Guard enlistments surge as border duty looms
Eleven men enlisted yesterday at the Hutte recruiting office and will mobilize at Fort Harrison to join various companies as the Montana national guard reaches war strength. Lieutenant Sheridan expects over 100 more from Butte within a week as news of possible Mexican border action spurs volunteers.
