June 20 Salt Lake City Montana Rotary delegates board a special train home bound for Butte with a final concert encore and cheers echoing from the crowd. Speakers praise Montana hospitality and Rotary spirit as the group departs, promising a warm Montana welcome in return.
The Rev. Stanislaus McDermott will celebrate his first Mass in Butte Sunday at 11. He grew up in Centerville and studied at All Hallows college Salt Lake Mt. St. Charles Helena and completed his novitiate in Benicia before ordination in Washington DC. He has served as chaplain in Washington East and South and in France. Relatives and friends from Centerville and Butte are expected.
