Michael J. and Edward Egan, brothers, were arrested and jailed by Chief J. J Murphy and Detective Captain Michael O'Donnell. They face desertion charges from the U S Army amid a Justice Department probe into a Bon trip to Mexico. They returned recently for a visit.
At the request of Attorney Ra O'Flynn representing W A Wylie held in Butte for some time at the request of Oklahoma authorities, Judge Dwyer dismissed the writ of habeas corpus and sent here with requisition papers. The automobile mortgaged property is in question, and Oklahoma sheriff made two attempts to transfer Wylie southeast but was blocked by legal action. The last effort failed on Wednesday. he boarded the Short Line train without his quarry, then left town due to lack of funds. For the moment the matter is considered closed in Butte. Authorities approved William R. McLure and Clara E. McLure yesterday.

County Attorney Joseph R Jackson filed suit against Funa Hihnala and Andrew Hakka to recover $1,000 the bonds they stood for in the case of Nestor Rayman charged with carrying concealed weapons. Rayman failed to appear for the December lust trial, default entered, bond liable. This marks a rare action in Silver Bow county.
William Morrison 16 through guardian Duncan Morrison filed a $20,000 suit against Dr Arthur G Allen for an alleged assault Saturday while Morrison was delivering goods for a Butte store. The complaint says Morrison’s wagon and Allen’s auto at 305 West Copper Street caused a bent fender and scratches.
Judge Lynch grants Camilla Messerona a divorce from Mansuetta Messerona and custody of one child. The defendant must pay 204 monthly for child support. Grounds cited include failure to maintain proper conduct amid Silver County tensions. Lawyers on the Silver County advisory board are summoned to a courthouse meeting tonight.
