Veteran Teacher Gains Long Service In Lutheran Sunday School
Mea Kate Roat or anton ra 1 years old has taught in the infant department of Trinity Lutheran Sunday School for five years. She began teaching on Easter Sunday in 1869 and is now superintendent of that department. Many current pupils are grandchildren of the first pupils. Eleven surveying parties will be sent out this year by the United States Geological Survey to investigate Alaska's mineral resources.
