The Hidden Lake Mining Co met and elected Patrick Cudahy president W A Law vice president Patrick Dalit treasurer T L Cullen secretary. directors include W C Ahearn L L Robinson and R R Robinson, with Robinson retained as superintendent. Expansion plans were approved to increase mining operations.

Tomorrow at Southern Cross Celebrates Mining District Day
Sunday June 22 marks the biggest day yet for the mining district west of Anaconda as an outdoor picnic goes ahead despite rain. Con F Kelley of Butte will address the crowd while a program of dancing music and a drill contest entertains miners and visitors. A Philipsburg orchestra and Washoe band provide music with a parade at 9 30 am from the mine to the grove. Luncheon is on the grounds and visitors need not bring baskets. Special trains from Butte connect to Southern Cross, drawing a large metropolitan crowd.
