Speculator Mining reports net earnings rise and high extraction costs

The Speculator Mining company filed its annual tax report showing a net profit of 291385 for the year ending June 1, an increase of about 152000 from the prior year. Average cost per ton mined was 5.83 dollars, driven by heavy work on the 1800 foot level of the Union to the Jessie claim, with allowable deductions for such costs. The company is said to be earning at roughly 2000000 per year. Heinze entities have not yet reported, delaying their releases.
