American theater manager wins prize in Robinson Crusoe stunt
J. V. Lynn, eight months manager at the American theater, left for Seattle to run another big venue. A $50 prize from Carl Laemmle’s contest was mailed to the Universal Film office after Lynn’s Crusoe stunt of parading a Crusoe figure and goat. He now competes for monthly and weekly capital prizes totaling up to $450 for June.

Zurah temple convoy tours Butte during Montana stop
About 200 members of the Zurah temple of the Mystic Shrine from Minneapolis visited Butte en route from a San Francisco convention to Yellowstone. The special arrived at 1 45 PM and left at 5 PM for Gardiner. They toured Butte by auto, visited mines, and held a banquet at the Masonic temple with railway men escorting them.

George Leonard of 1834 South Idaho Street was arrested yesterday after noon on a reckless driving charge and released to appear in police court this afternoon. Witnesses say his car struck a miner at Broadway and Main, knocking him down and injuring his left leg. the miner declined to press charges.
