Anaconda War Veterans Adopt Resolutions
At the Deer Lodge encampment in June 1919 the United Spanish War Veterans of Montana pass multiple resolutions. They oppose restricting land entry benefits to only World War I veterans, mourn Commander in Chief Carl C. Van Dyke, reaffirm allegiance against propagandist threats, oppose bolshevist ideas in labor, urge cooperation with patriotic labor leaders, and note plans for an upcoming Malta meeting and the formation of a state auxiliary unit.
