A new train will be placed in service June 15 leaving Chicago daily at 12:30 p m and arriving New York next morning at 9:30 am It will cut a full business day from Chicago to New York and complements the Lake Shore service W B Mutter and C Daly announce itineraries and rates are offered for health and pleasure excursions to a famous resort with baths and medical care on site including rail and lodging packages.

Remains of Mrs J W Scott Sent to Cal ibornea
The remains of Mrs J W Scott who died Monday morning were shipped to San Francisco on the Oregon Short Line train. Newspaper men accompanied the coffin to the depot and no funeral was held here. The funeral will be in San Francisco. Mrs Scott, long in Virginia City and California, lived in Butte less than a year and cherished her home life. She was a devoted wife and mother and died peacefully with Christian fortitude. Mr Scott's sister will return to Butte to help care for their baby girl.

Sheep Camp Killings Near Casper Wyoming
A gang attacked a sheep camp 50 miles west of Casper on Sunday night killing Fred Callahan and fatally wounding Dan Ferris an employee. Earlier Ferris and Callahan argued with neighbor Tor Murphy and were chased from the camp with threats to return. After midnight Cassahan and Ferris awakened by shots Cassahan was killed instantly by a head wound Ferris wounded in the breast and expected to die Sheriff hastened to the scene.
