X Ray Heals Thymus Gland Of Newborn Infant
In New York a three day old infant saved from death by artificial respiration and an X ray treatment targeting the thymus gland. Dr Mary Halton used controlled irradiation to induce gland atrophy which allowed the baby to breathe unaided after 24 hours.
