Enrollment Today in Summer School Works for All Students
Summer session enrollment opens at the high school and grade schools tomorrow with classes starting Thursday. About 200 high school students and 900 in the grades are expected to enroll. Open to all pupils regardless of prior attendance, with conditions for promotion, including special promotions for strong students and makeup opportunities for those who failed the last semester.

After arguments by attorneys Judge Lynch allowed parts of the complaint to stand in the case of John Martin versus Matt Bilbow for 5000 dollars. Martin charges Bilbow ran him down with an automobile near the Standard office on Broadway. Bilbow’s counsel sought to strike unnecessary passages. plaintiff's attorney resisted.
