Anaconda Plan To Convert Quigley Mansion Into Clubhouse

Promoters from Anaconda Butte and Missoula aim to turn the 82 room Bonita area mansion near Quigley into the Bonita Outing club a coastal style country club with limited membership. The plan includes an East based steward and trained staff to serve members who visit for day week or longer in summer and autumn. The project ties to the railroad community with M S Dean and others backing the venture. A 10 mile rail to Bonita trip followed by carriage would reach the clubhouse. The story includes a local side note about a dog and a mock dispute over $2 among lawyers and townsfolk.
