A Butte Red Cross chapter ordered three thousand pairs of Becks for patriotic women. The shipment was dispatched yesterday to support Red Cross volunteers after a Minneapolis order.
Mrs A G Herbst of Libby Montana, president of the W G T U, was entertained by Butte members at a reception. She praised Montana Red Cross workers and spoke on wartime morale and temperance work. A two day trial awarded Dr Peck $400 on counter claims while the plaintiff received $385.65 for work on Ulih Avenue and $188.60 for property on South Wyoming Street.
