Interview with Grant Ball notes no settlement with the Farrels. The Farrels and family once claimed $400,000 in a Parrot stock dispute with Robert D. Grant of Los Angeles and Thomas Wallace II of New Haven. Grant says the settlement report is false. withdrawal of suit was by the Farrels. Grant, formerly Parrot general manager, now runs copper mines in Arizona.

Amalgamated Copper reports record year and expansion
Amalgamated Copper Company posts net income of 14.19 million dollars for the year ended April 20, with dividends of 4.10 million and surplus of 2.23 million, driven by 275 million pounds refined copper produced by the company and related subsidiaries. Production gains, re-elected directors, and planned developments at Tramway, Snohomish, and other mines accompany a higher copper price and expanded smelting capacity.

Helena June 8 Special Dispatch reports Bald Butte Mining will pay a dividend of per cent. Developments reveal a large ore body with in sight valued at about $10 a share. May operation ran 26 days earning about $1000 daily. The company has 65 stockholders, mainly here, with central ownership in Boston. Prior years the property paid roughly $1,400,000 in dividends.
