Methodist centenary pledges exceed goals across Helena area
The Helena area church mission drives report 1.7 million dollars raised toward a 1.425 million quota for the Methodist centenary campaign. Officials note 228 tons of gold or 4 285 tons of silver dollars would be needed to equal the subscriptions. The Columbus gathering in 1919 will host delegates and Native Christians from mission fields with special railroad rates planned.
