Woodmen of the World unveil monuments in local cemeteries
Woodmen of the World honor dead with twelve monuments in city cemeteries. A parade from Carpenters’ Hall to the burial sites followed by unveiling ceremonies, with relatives invited and special cars arranged. Monuments mark graves of veterans and neighbors across Catholic and Hebrew cemeteries, with floral emblems placed by “choppers” and community groups.
