Conway denies guilt in petty larceny case
John W. Conway pleaded not guilty in Justice Pringle's court to a petty larceny charge after arrest in a alleged Big Hole basin robbery. He remained jailed for failure to post a $200 bond. trial set for Friday at 2.00. Police fingerprint indicated prior Missouri arrests and a nine month penitentiary term.

Deer Lodge Man Injured in Junction Collision
Arthur Jones of Deer Lodge suffered a scalp laceration and minor bruises after a collision at the junction of the Butte Anaconda highway and Deer Lodge road. He and Tom Fitzpatrick were in one car. Marco McDonald of 409 Birch Street drove the other vehicle. Both cars were badly damaged. Jones was treated in Anaconda.

Fire Destroys Garage and Furniture on West Park
Fire yesterday at 11 o clock badly damaged a garage and stored household goods owned by A J Kantack at 902 West Park Avenue. Neighbors saved an automobile from the blaze and the fire department extinguished the flames. Defective wiring is believed to have caused the fire. no one was in the garage at the time.
