The Elk named Jerry arrives by crate at Columbia gardens yesterday replacing Teddy the elk who died last fall. Jerry, once seen at Elk Saloon on East Broadway, was convalescing at Dr Liedbottoms ranch in German Gulch before shipment. The gardens celebrate the addition as a major attraction while vendors advertise hats at Hennessys and NP excursion rates for May and June with various returns and hotel boards.
