Mrs John Heier of Cumberland Maryland writes that Lydia E Pinkham's Vegetable Compound eased her menstrual pains and back labor during pregnancy and after, enabling her to work and care for seven children. She offers to answer any woman who writes asking what it did for her.
Dr. Fred K. Ream sues Mrs. Lillian Rowland for 46000 claiming a discrepancy in the late Dr. Thomas J. Rowland’s accounts. Ream says he ran the New York office but never received an accounting from the Chicago office managed by Rowland.

The Butte school trustees approve a five day weekly use of the gymnasium and pool for boys and girls. Girls use the pool from 9 to 10 a.m. five days a week, then 1 to 2 p.m. and 3:30 to 4 p.m. Boys use 10 to 11 a.m. and 11 to noon, plus 1 to 2 p.m. on different slots. Boy Scouts receive a Tuesday–Wednesday evening schedule.
