Peter Lyckholm formerly an electrical worker in Butte reportedly drowned Sunday in Kamloops British Columbia. Papers on the body enabled Kamloops police to seek relatives in Butte. His ex wife resides here and a brother works for the Omaha Bee. Chief Murphy wired for body disposition. He belonged to the electrical workers union the Knights of Pythias and the Eagles in Butte.
Active plans for forming a Butte branch of the National Society for the Prevention of Tuberculosis were drawn at a meeting. A general meeting set for Monday June 12 will adopt committee findings. The branch will provide nurses for the poor, run miner education programs, and enforce no spitting ordinances. Initiation followed calls from Dr. Kistler J E McNally and Charles E Virden two weeks ago.
