William John Trembath aged 17, son of Mr and Mrs John Trembath of Butte, was fatally struck by lightning while driving a truck at Huntley Cattle company No 1 ranch near Wisdom. He had moved from Butte three weeks earlier to work with a haystacking crew. The body was brought to Butte. funeral plans not yet made. Trembath born in England came to Butte seven years ago and was well liked by classmates.
Four armed burglars, aided by a woman driver, robbed Ignatz Prozkowski the Saloonkeeper of 3100 as he returned from a bank. A dog attacked the bandits and was shot dead. The getaway party escaped in a car as police pursued.
