Conference May Trigger Mail Clerks Strike

Anchorage July 16 Josephus Daniels secretary of the navy and John Barton Payne secretary of the interior and staffs are inspecting Chickaloon coal mines. They expect to return to Anchorage Saturday evening and take the destroyer Sinclair on Sunday morning for Kachemak bay where they are scheduled to board the dreadnaught Idaho for their return trip to Seattle.
