Dynamite Bomb Explodes in West 140th Street Apartment
A dynamite bomb detonated early today in the areaway of a fashionable West One Hundred and Fortieth Street apartment house. The blast shattered windows and created panic among residents, with a large crater in the court floor. Police found no clear motive or culprit, and a bellboy reported three men carrying a bundle nearby. The incident heightens fears of attacks on wealthy residents. Funeral services for William C. Moody are set for 2 PM at the Masonic temple after a noon removal from Richards' parlors.
