Doctor's Wife Arrested on Suspicion of Murder

Freeport July 8 Mrs Florence Carman wife of Dr Edwin Carman was arrested today accused of being the assassin who murdered Mrs Louise Bailey wife of a Hempstead manufacturer by firing a butler through her heart in the physician's office. She is held at Nassau county jail to be examined by the coroner. The arrest stems from testimony by insurance agent Ellwood Barden who is detained as a suspect.
