James Powers 45 of Butte died at home on North Wyoming Street after a six month illness from heart trouble. A Michigan native, he spent years in Butte as a miner at Corra. Survived by wife, nine children in Butte, four sisters, two brothers in Michigan. Funeral Friday at 9 AM with requiem Mass at St Mary’s Church.
