Straughan and McCabe, two young automobile enthusiasts from Missoula and Williamsport Ind, arrived in Anaconda on the way from Indianapolis to Missoula a 2400 mile journey. They left June 5 passing Bloomington Peoria Galesburg Davenport Council Bluffs Omaha Columbus Kearney Rawlins Laramie and more. Anaconda Drill Team Poised for State Contest
King lodge plans to send a 15 member team led by Captain G. J. Edgcombe and Wireless Walter Patterson to the forty fifth annual convention of the Grand Lodge of Good Templars in Butte August 25 to 30. The squad rehearses at Miss Laura McKay's home and includes Eleanor Threlkeld, Esther Gustafson, Hilda Thoen, Fred Moore, and others with banner bearers and a deputy marshal among the ranks. Delegates will be chosen July 2 for the new lodge year. Meanwhile local notices report various visits, sales, and civic items across Anaconda.
