Deer Lodge Montana January 19 members of the Arts and Grafts division of the Woman's club plan a Tuesday afternoon meeting at the clubhouse. They will answer roll call with current topics on modern philosophy and Mrs William Beaumont will present a brief address. The group pays tribute to the late Mrs HB Rivers.
At annual stockholders meetings in Stevensville the First State Bank and First National Bank reappointed their boards for 1925. First State Bank officers: L. W. Oberhaueer president George T. Baggs vice president Harold Met calf cashier with Hen Lancaster and J. F. Borough as directors. First National Bank officers: Elmer Johnson president John G. Howe vice president E. F. Cherry cashier Miss Clara Taylor assistant cashier with H. V. Lockridge and B. B. Liddell continuing as directors.

Claims include rapid weight gain and health benefits, with examples of a child gaining 12 pounds in seven months and a woman gaining 15 pounds in five weeks. The Moore Farmers Elevator company of Moore, At will pay out in full its stored grain after a district court ruling. The decision, viewed as pivotal by the state agriculture department, places farmers on par with scale tickets as proof of stored grain. The firm failed December 13, 1923, with 24,000 bushels and 5,000 unused tickets left in storage.
A Bay Shore report identifies the Fire Island beach comber as Andrew Sherman McMillen, a 60 year old contractor and former lawyer from Bridgeville Pa who disappeared seven years ago. McMillen’s brothers exhumed his body to confirm identity and link him to a past role as a justice of the peace and contractor.
The United States railroad labor board on January 19 approved wage boosts of 1 to 2 cents per hour for 87,000 clerical service employees across 19 of 43 railroads, totaling an annual increase of over 3.14 million dollars.
