A military funeral was held for Joseph Alfred Thibodeau who died in an automobile accident. The service at Mount Carmel Cemetery included a solemn requiem high mass at St Pauls church and a firing squad from the American Legion. Out of town mourners attended from Spokane and Butte.

Anaconda Pair Given Nil Terms On Coast
Mrs Hester Elford and Thomas Towhey were sentenced in a coast city federal court after being arrested in Tacoma on a white slavery charge. Elford got 10 days with release March 4, Towhey received 10 months. Warrants issued over funds alleged to belong to Tom McMahon, trace of money surfaced when Elford's daughter confessed in Butte to taking and her mother aiding. The pair were accused of grand larceny. Mann Act violations delayed Montana return. Elford girl placed in Helena girls home.

Two Arrested On Liquor Charge At Park Avenue
Peter Lazellin and Mike Bojovich were arrested yesterday at 701 East Park avenue by Undersheriff M. P. Mahoney and Deputy Oldhaber on a charge of possessing intoxicating liquor. The warrant was issued from the district court, and the fixtures from the place of business were ordered removed. Both men were placed in the county jail.
