Major General Fusz Issues General Order on Birmingham Reunion

Major General Paul A. Huen of Philipsburg announces General Orders No. 16 directing all Unter Confederate Veterans camps to assemble at the Birmingham, Alabama reunion in June. Convicted Man Seeks Release From Jail

A local report states a man convicted Sunday on assault charges in Cascade County seeks release through a writ issued by Judge Branily. Young Son of Convict Sent to Orphans' Home

Missoulin, Web, Si County Attorney Marlowes petitioned the diarried court to give Walter Hale aged 11 years to the state orphans home at Twin Bridges. The court ordered the transfer and he was placed in the home tonight. Hale, recently convicted of robbery, is serving a three year penitentiary sentence. He had his son with him at the scene, and it is alleged he was teaching him bad ways.

In a morning Montana county school board meeting the Siemen county high school project was awarded to Dave Erickson of Missoula by unanimous vote after concerns about the lowest bid from Montana Construction of Butte. The board postponed action last week and then selected the next lowest bidder Hincksom.
