Legislature Advances Bills as Veto Looms in Montana

Bishop McLaren of Chicago Dies at 74
Rev. William E. McLaren Protestant Episcopal bishop of Chicago died in New York at age 74 after heart failure. He had been ill for over a month and was confined to bed. Survived by widow, one son, and two daughters. He was consecrated in 1874 and founded the Western Theological Seminary in Chicago in 188.
