County Commissioners Report for Deer Lodge County
The Deer Lodge County Board of County Commissioners met at the courthouse at 10 a.m. February 24, 1926 in regular session. The minutes were read and approved. Bills across General Fund, Road Fund, Poor Fund, Dependent Children, Old Age Pension, Rent to Poor, Supplies to Poor, Bridge Fund, and Contingent Fund were audited approved and ordered paid, including salaries for county officers and staff, prisoner's care, courthouse maintenance, road repairs, hospital and indigent support, and various supplies and services.

St Pauls Dramatic Club announced at St Paul church that the club will stage Cappy Wicks a three act comedy drama by Howard Rose adapted from a Peter Kyne story on Feb 19 20 and 21 in the auditorium. Cast includes Alden Iks William Vance John Skinner and others. children’s show on Feb 20. A second play My Irish Rose by Walter Ben Hare is planned for mid March.

Clergy of St. Pauls parish report Father Coopman, pastor, is improving daily during his coast visit for health. He enjoys the trip and the many Anacondans at the coast who have met him and brought cheer as he recovers away from home.

Funeral Arrangements for George B Lynn In Anaconda
Funeral plans for George B Lynn a longtime Anaconda resident who died in Los Angeles were completed by his son in Anaconda and St Peter's Church. The body will arrive in Butte tomorrow evening and be met by P Finnegan Co representatives. It will lie in state at the K of C club rooms until Thursday morning. The procession will leave the club rooms at 9 30 o clock for St Peter's Church where requiem mass will be held at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Carmel cemetery. The funeral will be attended by the Catholic Order of Foresters of which he was once secretary and by the machinists union of which he was treasurer. His daughter Miss Mary was active at St Peter's Church before departing.
