Gather the Fragments That Nothing Be Lost
Reflections at Odd Fellows hall urge believers to gather up the fragments of sermons and spare moments from the year. Pastor R E Williams, citing John 6 12, laboriously urges frugality and generosity, warning against spiritual waste and urging timely repentance, prayer, and vows to accept Christ before the year ends.

Etiquette in Elevators Hat Rule Question
Readers debate proper decorum in tall building elevators. Without Earl Chesterfield guidance, opinion splits on removing hats when women ride, with some deeming it polite in hotels or hallways, while business elevators are viewed as public conveyances where hat removal is not required.
A Woman and Etiquette in Elevators
The passage argues that women deserve equal consideration in both business and hotel elevators. It notes no fixed rule exists and men will have differing views. It suggests the respectful action is for a man to tip his hat if he wishes to, while a man who prefers not to should keep it on, leaving both sides potentially correct or wrong.
