Car Fire Destroys Touring Car Near Three Mile House
A large touring car owned by Mike Ryan of Butte caught fire about a mile east of the Three Mile house early yesterday. The top and body were totally destroyed while the chauffeur, returning from an Anaconda trip, managed to extinguish the flames before significant engine or running gear damage occurred.

Pay Checks Stolen From Great Northern Rail Office
Great Falls, Dec 21. After closing Christmas Eve, a thief stole pay checks totaling about 3000 from the Great Northern railway cashier’s office. The loss was found Friday morning when two checks had already been cashed by local merchants, one for 45 dollars by a meat dealer and another by a clothing merchant. Descriptions were given to buyers of the checks.
