Stolen Cigar Shipment From Local Truck
Three hundred dollars worth of cigars and tobaccos were taken from a truck owned by L. 8. Cohen & Co near Granite and Main streets just before 1 o clock yesterday. The driver left the vehicle briefly for a delivery and returned to find the loss. Police believe the theft involved someone familiar with the truck's cargo, possibly connected to planned uptown deliveries for Christmas.
