Cobban Guilty Declared by Jury in Anaconda Case

After a two hour deliberation the jury found former Anaconda stock broker Ray Cobban guilty of misappropriating 14062 from Mandoli for Inspiration stock. Sentencing was deferred to December 27 with Cobban remanded to custody. An appeal is expected.

Christmas Charity Drive Seeks Donations for Needy

City Christmas deliveries to the poor begin Tuesday. Donations of clothing money books or toys are requested at the Montana hotel basement. Captain L Powell Salvation Army will pick up if needed. No personal solicitations. Salvation Army aided by Woman's Club and A I M E members. Knights of Columbus charity ball funds used for coal and groceries.
