Gaelic Festival Delights Butte Audience With Spirited Programme
The second annual Fels Ceoll of the Gaelic league was held in the Auditor last evening to a crowded house. Prominent citizens attended as James T. Moriarity presided. The program ranged from a miners’ drum corps and Gaelic singing to hornpipe dancing and recitations, with Miss Mary Buckley and Miss Nora Sullivan drawing enthusiastic applause. The Star Spangled Banner closed the lively event, and organizers led by General Michael O’Donoghue announced plans to continue the revival of the Gaelic tongue and culture.
