James McCarthy age 61 dies from gangrene after a bruise weeks earlier. He lived in Center ville and worked in the Michigan district before moving to Butte. Survived by four sons John M William James and a daughter Myre, wife Anne Snyder. Funeral Wednesday at St Lawrence Church with services at home prior.
