Unnerving confrontation ends with hush before departure
In a tense domestic scene Noble Harwood cuts his dinner talk short to attend a chamber of commerce meeting. Laurel absorbs his icy mood and later confronts Wyman Holt, who pressures her with an unwanted confession of love. Marion appears as the confrontation escalates, and the scene ends with a threat to reveal all.
